Recently fitted some checker plate to the Defender. I got them from Justin at Landybitz, who seems to be a jolly nice chap and I'm well chuffed with how they came out

Bling needs to be shiny and have no practical use at all. Your plates are black and turn your bonnet into a great standing platform.

Did you find the kit easy to fit? were the fixings as you thought?

Yes fitted very well and was easy to fit, I used the holes for the two vents on the wing tops to line it all up.
The fixings were good apart from on the front of the bonnet where I had to drill through the reinforcing under the bonnet and so needed 3 longer bolts, but really not a drama.
