    Hey all,

Can I take a non winch bar to a laser cutting place and have the same cutouts made on it to support a winch? they look they they're the same size?

The non winch bar is a thinner steel sheet for the main body of the bar to the winch bar. I have an older style ARB non winch bar and had it cut to fit a winch. I have 3mm plate behind the winch mounts to add extra support and spread the load.

You can make a non-winch bar a winch bar but you have to add metal. I just did this.. and documented it in this thread:

    Bullbar high mount modification

its not hard if you have the gear.. but you'll need quarter inch plate, not that 2/3mm stuff.
