auto trans making metal

8) well its true, my auto is making steel [95 disco v8] enough to clog the filter,
has anyone had this sort of sorrow?
i have cleaned the filter and put it back in for a while [no point replacing it as the trans man will do that]

all i can offfer is that my 92 vogue, was sticking in first one morning, then came good, I got it straight to the auto tech, he drained it , advised of metal, and general crud, replaced filter and fluid, and advisea new auto trans was required, his quote $3900 8O

That was some 15,000 km ago still running fine [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif[/img]
