Bin time!! Non serviceable & looks like the diaphragm has busted.
My fairly new (12 mth old) twin stage gas regulator has decided to gush gas when the cylinders are turned on. The gas is coming out of the mesh part on the 2nd stage.
This is the beast:
Are there any adjustments/servicing you can do to these, or is it 'get a new one' time?
It worked fine the last time I used it, but that was 3 months ago.
I was suspicious when I saw the brand CHEN FONGbut is seems to be the one everyone sells....
Thanks
David

Damn.
OK - will take it back and see what they say about a warranty replacement. Now where did I put the receipt .....
Thanks for the advice.
Andrew - any hints on what to search for on eBay?
I've tried the obvious (Gas regulator diaphragm; Gas Regulator repair; Gas Regulator fix) but nothing useful....
Just reviewing this & I should have noticed it is not a crimped type but has bolts, so you could replace the diaphragm. Sorry bout that, 98% are crimped.
Buy a real one.

Yeah- that's the same thoughts that I had. I got the (now) broken one from MaxBuilt, who I would have thought only stocked decent items. Gas stuff is all they do.
Thanks for the link. I'll try and track one of those down tomorrow in Adelaide. You don't happen to sell them do you?
Thanks for that link Jilden - I've bought one of those Marshall regs. Should be delivered by Wednesday, so enough time to re-fit everything before we head off next weekend.
Cheers
David
