Series 1 History

Hi There,
I am not sure if I am posting this in the correct place.

I have just purchased a 1955 Series One VIN number 57661958 and I am hoping to determine more of its history as I know very little. I know it left the factory as a CKD kit on 8th July 1955 and was shipped to Sydney but I don't know any more at this point in time. I know that a Series 1 that left the factory a week earlier came to Granville Motors so it's likely it went there.

Can anybody shed any light on where/if I can access sales records for Granville Motors if they exist and if there are records elsewhere of the body/chassis/engine/gearbox numbers. It would be really great to find out more about it.

If someone is able to assist then I am more than willing to pay for any information.
