Rebuilding Bilsteins - where and who?
Hi All
I have been to the Australian Bilstein website and they are quoting a two week turnaround to bebuild their shocks.
Can these shocks get rebuilt anywhere else? Is this work done at all larger shock centres?
I am in Perth, WA.
Any help apreciated and apols if this is a dumb question.

They were quicker than that for me. Just under a week at Syndey Shocks. I think it just depends if their motorsports division are on the road though.

Baker Bros in Melbourne.
I'd use them over Quadrant or Heasmans, and are very good at revalving, if you wish that to be done.

thanks.
Defender is my only car and while I can survive a week - longer and the savings are not out weighing the pain in butt. I contacted my mechanic and he is checking out people in Perth too.

About $130pr for a revalve. If you're after something from the shock specifically then its great. Otherwise you could buy all the shocks on the market and hope one of them is what your after.
