ANZAC dawn service which regional town

    Hi all,
Looking for some recommendations on where to attend a dawn service on ANZAC day.
I live in Melbourne and will be taking 4 days off, leaving after work on Thursday afternoon on a solo bush trip .......just getting away. Last yr I ended up iat Broken Hill service and really enjoyed it. Was going to go back to Broken Hill but I thought I'd ask for any recommendations from the AULRO community. I'm not keen on doing the capital event and looking for something in a regional town.... Probably 1000kms would be the limit from Melbourne.

I don't know that area well, but if you were to approach the sub-branch of your local RSL, [ if you don't get a recommendation here], they should know. If you do find a town, I can give you the Dawn service and march times, if needed, Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
