A WDH would be a good idea for coils but is forbidden on air. Try some progressive coils for the rear so the suspension is not uncomfortable unladen.
Auto transmission harness leaking after sitting idle for some months, what is best solution and cost, is there point when it must befixed before it gets much worse.
Also need to raise rear coil springs as caravan ball load is 280Kg and so causes rear end to sit 3 inches too low, can put in 4 stiffer coil springs fix this and do i need a weight distribution hitch as well ? if so should the coils be fixed before using a wight distribution hitch?

also maybe fit air bags inside the rear sprngs so you can adjust the suspension for towing and fine tune rear end sag. Worked a treat on my Defender.
Hi Kencars,
On my S I considered bags of some description but in the end went with stronger progressive springs, they worked a treat. Be mindful if you are considering doing the job yourself the old springs are hard to remove, the new springs are even harder. I would strongly suggest getting the springs fitted to the struts by a suspension shop or a workshop of some description. If the spring clamps let go the strut could take your head clean off. Be careful.
