    Rear tow cover template

Does any one have a template for trimming the rear tow cover so that in can be fitted with Mitch hitch in place?

I'd like to tidy things up back there

    TIA

    I just started cutting
It's not too difficult.. Just cut it completely in halves then hold it up alongside and mark out what needs removing.

    Cut in half first

Same here. Cut in half and then work the shape required. I finished off with a rasp.
You can see the centre cut in this photo. It's only a small finger that you want to keep going across above the hitch. It's tight at about 10mm wide.

    Cheers,

    Smile

I finished off the cut out with pinch weld from Clarke Rubber. Just tidies up the unavoidable rough edges. :

    Ahh that explains it

Thanks for the pointers guys. It had completely escaped me that your covers weren't one piece any more.

    Now it looks doable
