New Aldi or used Ridgerider winch?

    Hi All

I have a choice to make. I have a new aldi winch and a used ridge ride winch in the shed. cant decide which one to fit. I'm leaning towards the Adli one caus its new.

Anyone wad any issues with either of these?

    Cheers

I never had issuses with the Aldi winch.
I think both ridgerider and Aldi very much the same quaility and price.
I hope you have not started one of those Warn is best and will save your life and the others are rubbish threads.......I could bear reading that debate again.

Matt , a lot of folks seem to have had a good run from the Aldi winch. I'd go the new over the used ...

... and strip it, clean all the pretend factory lube out and repack it with some real grease. There's a tutorial somewhere on AULRO.

My Aldi winch has had zero issues over the last 4/5 years .... just gotta get it off the garage floor and install it !

If planning to sell one i'd sell the new Aldi and keep the ridge ryder, i doubt there is much difference between them.
