Speccing 5+2 deletes so many options?

I'm in the middle of speccing my Disco Sport, this is what I have so far:

However something baffles me - trying to add the 5+2 options brings up this error:


Full size spare wheel I can understand, but nothing else makes sense. Is the online configurator broken?

Well I guess that half-explains why I can't have locking wheel nuts with a full-sized spare too....

Firstly.. Congratulations on what looks like it will be a lovely vehicle..

Forget locking wheel nuts anyway - they don't stop anything - except you being able to change a tyre! Thieves have them off in seconds..

Just check with the dealers as sometimes option packs can not be added as the option you tick already brings them in...

it is a mistake. I delivered one today with Cold climate pack and 7 seats. I will send landrover an email on Monday to let them know. Don't expect a speedy response though

may find that the seven seat option makes other option packs a standard feature.

I think a few more options are now available in the current MY16.5 configurator, but what really appears insane is you can't have a Contrast Roof + Pano Roof + 5+2!! At least according to the configurator.

Of course, if you choose a blackpack... then you can.

Park & Assist (Surround + Parking) seems to be available with 5+2, but Blind Spot Monitor doesn't (suspect rear 'radar' sensors are incompatible), which also means that Wade Sensing is not available, although it was certainly demonstrated with 5+2 in iceland.

I heard back from my dealer. Apparnetly MY16.5 removes all the restrictions, so for example, Blind Spot Monitor is now available with the 5+2 seating option.
