Modern Calcium batteries
Are battery box vents still needed with the use of modern calcium batteries?
These vents are drawing hot air into the cabin, is it recomended to insulate the battery box?

Why not insulate the battery bay from the cabin but keep the battery box vents open to atmosphere? Or are you talking about some aftermarket box secured in the cabin somewhere?

I have started insulating the car with neoprene, so I was thinking of gluing the material to the inner surface of the battery box.
