    85 RR-Pulsair- Help

I have all the pulsair bizzo on my 3.5 but all the other rangies that I look at have it removed.
The other day while driving, she lost power and was doing about 10kph flat to the boards. Pulled over and had a tinker, removed air filter and 1 was all caked in black emmissions. Drove home with no filter on and was fine.
I think the Pulse air valve is stuffed but can't remove the bugger from the piping to check it.
So can i just remove the whole lot and blank off the inlets with suitable bolts or is there adverse reactions to this.
    Any info would be great.
    Thanks

No doubt this one does not pop up everyweek.

    up every 3 days.

Sigh I posted one yesterday , but lost it and couldne't be bothered redoing it.
    YES you can do it.
NO it will not hurt anything but emissions.
Those cars are high compression and have a very bad cam . Changing the cam improves them a lot.
