D3 2.7tdv6 2007 HDC issue

Gents

Was driving to the bean counters this afternoon and vehicle running normally.

Was stopped at a set of lights when bong bong centre screen on the dash states transmission fault and other things I could not see in time.

Next HDC fault indicated and Christmas lights on the dash. Suspension lowered

Pulled over and did the normal lock unlock 3 times to reset. Started up and faults cleared.

Will see how it is once I drive home.

Any thoughts??

Peter, sounds like the initial symptoms of a faulty brake light switch.

Thanks mate. You could well be correct. Unjust drove back from Ipswich to corjnda with no issues.

Now you would think I'd get more than 201,000km out of the switch hehe

If you never used your brakes it would be as good as new!!!!!
At least its not an expensive fix if you DIY.

yes I think I should be able to handle that one. I'll order one in from brit part of similar and pop in the glovebox that way the original will keep working forever!
