Fishing Old Telegraph Track.

Morning all,

I've been trying to do some research on fishing opportunities whilst travelling the OTT but not finding much. I have no doubt that with the number of river systems up in the cape there would be plenty of opportunity along the OTT or close by it. However would like some better knowledge of what's available. Can anyone help?

Check out some of the posts on the Cape West Coast in this forum. Some good spots mentioned in that one.

I fished many of the rivers along the track but we had a small tinnie and got away up and down these away from some of the crowds. Rivers like the Archer and the Pacoe were good. Better rivers out to the west like the Mitchell and places like Pompuraaw and Kowanyama saw us catch heaps of Barra, Threadfin, Sootys and Black Bream.
