Congratulation. 80 thou is still a baby. Nice deal
Lola Beatle the (almost) trusty D3 HSE V8 is leaving the familiy for a D4 TDV6, obviously not new, 2011 with 80,000km, Dark Gray, ARB Bull Bar, UHF etc. pretty stock actually...
Bit nervous about the change in engine size (4.4 to 2.7) but I guess all the feedback on the site gives us a fair degree of confidence
We'll welcome "Lola Too" to the family in Brisbane tomorrow afternoon (Confident the War Office will approve)
Excited, Nervous & Broke....but looking forward to the possibilities

Ouch...Just spoke to previous owner, replaced under Warranty 2 HP Fuel Pumps & complete wiring loom?
Says since these works he has had no issues in the last 5 months
With no factory warranty left, we're a bit concerned
Any thoughts?
Enjoy the new ride.Ask your local dealer to see if you can buy extended warranties.Would be surprised if you cant.

It's Her car now & I'm stuck with the work ute!
Condition of the vehicle exceeded our expectation, except for the missing new car smell she is perfect.
Drives and handles a lot smoother than old Lola, haven't noticed any real "lack" of power in normal driving along the Warrego Highway, did notice a bit of a difference in tourqe pulling up the hills (Diesel pulls a lot smoother without changing down) & returned 10lt - 100km on the run back to Miles
Suprised at the creature comforts in the base model compared to the HSE, no noticable inconvenience.
Dealer offered a warranty conditional on using thier workshop services for all work & services...too far from Miles (or Darwin) to be effective...
Noticed some uneven wear beginning on front LH Tyre - will get it looked at locally to see if it has any serious conotations, will take her to Comet Motors in Brisbane for a complete health check before statutory warranty expires.
Planning for an Xmas Drive to the West (now we need to by a Camper Trailer)
Cheers
