    Bloody bleeding brakes

    Gday All,

Land Rover been building cars for 60 plus years and why they change the simple things im dumb founded.

I bled the brakes on my D3 today and the rear bleed nipples face out from the caliper as per every car I have seen before, but, come to the front and dont make it simple they decide to have the bleed nipple facing the rear of the car, so you have the rim an inch or so from the nipple , so you need to try and get the hose on the nipple and do a 90 almost straight away.

Why change something that has been working for so many years.

oh well no use crying over spilt brake fluid.

    Cheers Ean

    Not just the D3 mate.

I had to remove the front wheels off the RRC to get to the outer bleed nipples.
The inner one would have just been possible with the rim on.
It was a good excuse to check for movement in the bearings etc..

Good to see things havn't changed
    Cheers, Kyle
