We all know the pitfalls of lucas.

I would try and tackle the rewire yourself, or get assistance.
If its only for a series, their wiring isnt too bad to figure out.
At least then you can place a fuse board with extra power outlets at the same time for those future gadgets.

Then you can be proud that you understand your vehicles wiring.

But then again, if its cheap buy it and copy it using new wire.

Have a look in the Australian car restoration magazines - there are companies that advertise in there that make wiring looms - they have their standard models but they can also make from an old one - but then on the landys you have there is not a lot of wiring anyway and you could make your own.

Mat just copy the original with better quality wire and put a bigger fuse box in tools you need seidecutter; wire striper; soldering iron a crimping tool (ratchet type) and lots of cable ty's.

and if you have a problem use the special "AULRO" tool.

    one more

Have lots of fun doing it

    Hi Ace
Being 1974 it should be Ser3 and therefore different than yours.
