Wanted: Series 1 in NSW to hire for a drive and a picnic for my partners birthday!

Please help!!!

Looking for a Series 1 to hire for the day - in NSW - preferably within 3 hours from Sydney.

Will be used for a short drive and a photoshoot and a picnic for my partners birthday!

He is absolutely obsessed with Land Rovers - it's all he ever thinks about. He's owned a 91 Discovery and now a 110 Defender. His dream is to own and restore a 80" Series 1 with the original motor. As he has never had the opportunity to take one for a drive, I'd really like to organise to hire one for the day, drive to a lake or park and have a picnic. He would be over the moon if I can pull this off and find someone to help

He does a bit of 4wding but there will be none of that with your car! We don't have to go very far from your place.

yep -that'll put him right off. I used to love 'em when I was bouncing about on the rough - then I drove one on the road for the first time and ....oh dear! Only joking. I reckon he'll love it. Sadly , my series 1 has PDS.
