Hi just thought Id start a post for things to do with OZI there are quite a few of us using it.. Perhaps in time we can get the bloke to designed it to jump on and drop a line - ill send him an email

so ill start off, we use OZI at work - even though mapinfo is the corporate supported application, we run both CE standard and 3D versions, to date we have only a few porblems, the main one is that we constantly have to re load maps, so that he serch facility works - anyone else with this problem.

I use both OziExplorer and 3D coupled of course with Natmap Raster.

I did at the start have the map loading problems but eventually managed to get the setup loaded on the HD so that it runs well now.

If I remember right it all had to do with setting up the correct paths for the Raster in the Ozi configuration

If you want the config details let me know.

Make sure you have the most up to date version because there were some issues that you have mentioned in earlier versions that should have been rectified in the updates.

Ok, got the upgrade, I now have Alt and Sat's but now Oziexplore CE closes after about 5 mins while navigating but will remain open as long as you like while not navigating.

    Any ideas?

These are the limitations of the Evaluation version.

    * Moving map mode (communication with the GPS) will only remain active for 20 mins each time OziExplorerCE is run and then 10 mins after that (until restarted). At the end of these times a dialog will be displayed and communication will be deactivated.
    * A watermark using the text "Demo Version" will be drawn onto the map.

Other than for the restrictions mentioned above, the evaluation version works exactly the same as the purchased version.
