    New threat, restricted performance

    Hi All,

Again over the weekend a restricted performance showed it's ugly warning flag, with no performance issue. As always, during or just before our trip.

This is count 5. Again left sensor connector, " So they Say".

How many people have had this issue, it appears to be most if not all RSS/D4 TDV6?

You might want to get yourself a diagnostic tool, that way you know what fault code it is.

We had a similar case(different part) our diagnostic tool kept saying front left height sensor, they said it wasn't, in the end I gave up taking it to them and replaced it myself, guess what happened

Mine never had that warning message in 195000km, until there was a real problem, which was s split in the plastic inlet manifold.

Did you get the fuel filter housing replaced?

    Cheers

My 2010 D4 had the restricted performance amber light showing for months, without exhibiting any actual issues (or logging any faults). Turned out to be a faulty fuel filter assembly. Only other warranty issue was the suspension compressor, which started giving error codes on the very last day of the extended warranty. Replaced promptly and efficiently by the dealer (Allianz warranty).
