Yes, everything seems to come around again , Bill. When I joined the Navy I was issued with ankle high boots, the tags were rounds of leather, held together by tacks, up into the bottom of the boot. Dally Messenger wore a pair, I think. Get them wet, you felt the tacks. We bought our own, & ditched them. Then were threatened with disciplinary action for doing so!. You have to laugh, really.
