    Knee Replacement Time

Time to break a leg (old show business comment version/bad pun) with a second total knee replacement (RHS this time) on Wed, so will be out of action for 6 - 8 weeks based on my first experience 7 years ago.

This time, at 68 I'm not waiting for the pain too be a killer, but getting in early hoping for a reasonable recovery and a decade or so of useful mobility before I slow down too much. Unfortunately I left it too late to do the Kokoda Trail bucket list item with my son, despite him being an intensivist, but there's still a little breath in the old body.

Been doing some extra physio to hopefully ease the recovery, but will be several weeks of very uncomfortableness, despite the morphine or whatever.

    ... I feel better now...

    - Brave Bloke he is... especially after spending time working with someone who'd recently had one done...and was suffering terribly...
