The 90hp Cub was my first tailwheel endorsement. They were such a lovely aircraft to fly.
Many years ago when I worked in Unzud there was a Super Cub for sale at Ardmore for $60k and was on the lot for ages. I reckon if I made a cash offer of around 45k it would have been mine as it did need a little work on it. This I could have done myself over the time at little cost, even a rebag would have just cost materials as I also have fabric. Sadly over ruled by higher authority.
    Cheers Graeme

Never flown a Cub, but have flown the related Citabria Decathalon, and owned an Auster for several years.

I also have flown a Citabria as well as a C180 but never a Auster. Been up many a time in one as Dad was ATC at LST and an ex RAAF Halifax pilot so he kept current at the aero club on the Tiger Moth as well.

I also owned a 180 for several years, including while I was living in PNG.
