Falling petrol price, how low will it go ?

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

When i first got my licence, super petrol was 19 cents a litre. I would get change from $2.00 filling my motor bike ( road bike). $20.00 would get me from Merredin to Perth and drive around all day and night in my 64 toyota crown. Those were the days. But on the other hand i was only earning $75.00 in my hand for a 45 hour week, as a trainee station master/ number taker. Night shift paid more $$

When I got my licence it was the equivalent for a gallon. I was shocked when I was transferred to Carnarvon in 1971 and it cost 35c/gallon - the same as a pack of 20 Marlboro!

We are all showing our age, when i got my first car, petrol was 13c/l.

When it crept up to around 22c/l there was a big panic and everyone was changing their cars over to smaller 4 cylinders.Welcome the Gemini,120y and 180B,etc.

Yet today, well over 35% of commodores sold are V8,and you can't buy a LC that isn't a V8,how things have changed.

I've moved all my super out of the market, into cash, which in my fund is capital guaranteed.[ did the same at the beginning of the GFC, didn't make much for some time, but didn't lose any. I have a bad feeling about this.]

We are getting ripped off here,BIG TIME....Unleaded is 126.9cpl I refuse to pay it to the crooks, I drive a couple of kays out and get it at 105.9cpl. It's not that I'm stingy. I just don't like being ripped off!!!!!
