    Seat Box Protection

    Just wanted to share a small mod I did to protect the edges of the front seat boxes:

    2mm aluminium checker plate from Bunnings, local welder attached the top plates.

    Yep, did the same with 1.0mm stainless (painted black), thought this would have to be the first/most common fix for a TDCI owner.
    Less room than you would think when the door is closed, loading up a bolt with spring washer/flat washer may be unrealistic. I went down the tek screw route for this reason.
