    My D3 has been stolen

    By my wife.

I bought myself a new little red toy a while ago thinking that the D3 would be my mobile man cave I could keep to myself as well. But my eldest daughter now has her licence and sometimes uses SHMBOs car, and so she ocassionally started driving the D3 when her car was gone.

Over the last couple of months I have realized she has entirely annexed the D3 and now drives it all the time even when her car is free and unused.

I went to hop in it to go to Bunnings this morning and it was gone and I haven't seen it all day.

Same thing happened to my poor brother-in-law when they bought their D4 - totally annexed by my sister. It's funny that he never had that problem when they owned a GU Patrol and then their Prado......

Cant get my wife out of ours either, she loves the thing.Same with the old D2.

We were on the old tele track in the D2 a few years ago,she was driving, one wheel off the ground, not going anywhere. Some bloke came over and said something like your not at coles now you know

    He pulled us out.

She can't cop the Defender, got in it one day to move it and couldn't find where the key goes.
Never been in the drivers seat again, and hates being in the passenger seat as well

    Spoilt by the D4.

I am gonna get the D4 power upgrade, won't tell her,it will be interesting to see if she notices

My wife on the other hand only drove the D3 if we were going out as a family. All other times including when it was just the two of us she would take her BMW.
This may be because she had a bit of a lead foot, one time coming home from Canberra on the Hume Freeway she complained the D3 had a bit of steering shudder. I said "That's strange I've never noticed it"
She said " Yes it is there .......once you get a bit over 140 km/h!"

    Cheers

Would love to, but sadly I have way too much invested in wheels at the moment so it will have to wait a while. Was looking longingly at a new RRS today
