Nev Sharp, of Humpty Doo, Australias' next World Champion ?

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

I think AULRO should sponsor you. At the very least, organise a burp-off, to choose our champion. I can see it now, a convoy of defenders/ discos slowly making their way to Humpty Doo, refusing the luxury of bitumen roads, [ where possible]. The craggy faces of the drivers set with the determined stare of Battle of Britain spitfire pilots, on a mission to support their champion.

The Humpty Doo pub. Had many a beer there. Used to have the largest buffalo horns anywhere, over the bar. Had some of the biggest characters that side of the Darwin workers club, as well.

The link didn't work last night, now it does. For a moment, I thought the pub may have burnt down, thankfully, not.

Dunno who owns the pub now but when Skewsie owned it there were more bull**** stories about the size of buffalo horns and crocodiles feet than you could poke a stick at.

Used to go there often enough in the 70's.....you could get a decent meal and a really good steak sandwich there.
