oil leaks ??

Toyota tested their new car extensively and one evening an cat crept in unnoticed. As it was a long weekend the car was locked and when the workers arrived on Monday the cat had died of lack of oxygen. This story made it's way into an chairman meeting of Land Rover where engineers got really excited and wanted to try it on Land Rovers too. When they checked the Rover on Monday to see what happened the cat was gone....

Looking at buying a landrover disco how true would the above joke be ??

Funny, but not much truth in it. The cat died in the cruiser because it was bored to death by toyotas lack of design imagination.

Well it is an urban myth often told and in many different ways.

The fact is that Land Rover spent much time engineering a total dust ingress system that alerts the driver that the vehicle is being driven in an offroad situation. Unfortunately recently some of the tradition has been lost. In an attempt to revive the tradition and wrest market share from Toyota I have heard that the D4 will come with a canvas top option and an RSPCA endorsement.
