    Bang Again

Put my new wiz bang $420 tailshaft with 30deg flanges in yesterday, went on a very mild club trip, going up a slightly harder side track, what happens, blow up another bloody flange, not even 24hrs old.

And to top it all off, when I get home my favorite gold fish is dead.

Whats happening to them when they break? I'm just wondering if the high angle flanges are weaker. I think I've seen a few open up in the "ears".
    Cheers

The flanges arn't custom, they are a high angle flange to suit rover. The shaft is the correct lenght with enough movement both ways on the slip yoke. There does not appear to have been any binding issues.

Having said that, the flanges are not as meaty as the oem ones due to the "High Angle" nature of them.

    Will take some pics tomorrow.

Thats no good Maggot. What caused the brakage? Was it just not strong enough or faulty or something?

Sorry to hear about your gold fish, I gave up on them ages ago, i always kill them. Matt
