Hello Richard in all honesty not real good, The clubs and the exhibitors no problems all very enthusiastic but not very many of the general public came.
All the displays were good and the show and shine, well that was good as well
But just not enough people. This was a first and was a learning curve for next year. the organisers did a good job but I have been told that a reminder was supposed to go in sat west aust newspaper via rob robson but it did not go in. Rob says he did the article but the paper did not put it in, for reasons we dont know as it was a charity event.
the only thing we can think of is that ARb opp lock ore etc have their own show next month BEFORE the big 4wd show and the paper is poss supporting this instead, however this is just hearsay. I am sure we will find out why, and when we do I will post. The big guns ARB opp Lock ORE etc are not exhibiting in the wa4wd show as a protest to the orgainisers as they feel its not value for money and there is too much caravaning etc in the show.
I dont know how much advertising was done on the radio stations etc fdor the anglcare day, normally they do this sort of thing for nuthin. I dont know if the tv stations were informed.
I will find all this out as the main organiser was from our club and he was having kittens just trying to get it all together, There were others delegated to to different stuff but I have no idea if all went to plan .
Pity as it would have made it a real good day if more people came,
never mind there will always be next year and I am sure with more notice it will be better.
ps I won nuthin but it did not matter !

Brad,
No, haven't taken the new one off road .......................yet.....................I'v e just got to prise the better half out of it :!: :!:

For the short term I am thinking of holding on to the '86RR for my hard trips.................at least while I can until the money runs out :!:

I want to take the Disco out soon to see what it is capable of, probably will wait until it's dry for that though.

Thats why I have done what I have done to the 89 which was the wifes originally. I need a daily type driver that I can take offroad without lots a damage....probably why I am in th tea and scones club...LOL
