new tyres for BUB91

after listening to you lot waffle on I just went and bought the first ones through the door ,,,, he he just kidding :wink:

after lots of head scratching and evaluation( looking and talking) I went with Coopers ATR's,, (lettering INSIDE, of course [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img] )

Took them for a run to Rainbow Beach Bowls club yesterday and while they are not slicks they did OK,, ( yes I know what the AT means---)

Bub91 now has this wonderful "yes I know you turned the wheel to the right,, buts lets just continue on straight ahead for a millsecond or two,, shall we?" feeling about it,, its a lot softer riding, has no tyre noise to speak of and if you look close has Discovery on the side of the tyres,, (we all know americans cant spell )

The reason for ATR's???

well it seems Mrs Pedro is keen about playing around in the bush again,, and a few more dirty weekends away are quite possible,, 8O 8)

and IF (and its an expensive IF at this stage) we go to Marree next year, some decent tyres were needed.

and besides all that--
