Dumb Question.

I have a Scan Gauge 2, find it very handy little thing.
For years I have had it set to tell me, Engine Temp, Volts, Lt per 100km & Air intake Temp.
I don't know why I would want to know the Air Intake Temp so I pushed the button a few times, I can get something called MAP or LOAD.
What is MAP?
What is LOAD?
Is there a reason I would want to know either of these things???
If not I think I will set it to Lt per Hour

Load is a calculation usually of engine effort..

Exactly, or, vacuum on conditions like overrun, idle etc.
