How on earth did you find that. I've been driving CX's since I was 16years old..... and they are HOT .... the hottest cars ever made to travel in (you have no idea the effort I put into mine to make it cooler to travel in .... it just needs an athermic windscreen now)... To travel central australia in one is to invite suicide via heat stroke LET ME AT IT

Have you seen the entry into the latest ****box rally ?

As i am very busy at work ....... i have a few moments to check that website out each week .....

Its a great website if you like different cars - ie not fords or holden and are interested in why someone owns that particular car .
The videos are shot nicely and show the cars off to their " best side "

this is my other favourite this week

This Willys Jeep Has Always Been Out In The Open - Petrolicious

Oh gee's .. I'm going to waste half my life looking at that site now

That willies is amazing. To slow for our roads though. Would it's cruising speed be 50mph not towing ?

There is quite a few Traction roadsters built (very badly from what I've heard) in vietnam. I know of at least one that has come to Australia.

My father has a traction ... it's a standard small body one... built in france but RHD.

they were imported into australia undercoat and painted here. Apparently this is a chrysler metalic red from the late 40's/early 50's.

It's the only car my father has actually "sort of" restored. It's first trip was our wedding car and my father HATED it. slow, heavy, etc.... you know, a vintage car It also had a noise in it's gearbox.

Fast forward 15years. I finally have it's gearbox in my shed right now (you can see it beside the pictures of the boge leveller I posted). I'm determined to be driving the car around by the end of this winter ................... My father sure won't want me too. But I figure I'll have to tidy up one of my ID19's and sell it to fund it's purchase from him.

'Why' would someone buy an ID 19...? - if there was a chance for a CX...one with a working a/c...
    - Would you get your costs back, you know, the price of placing the For Sale advert?

No, I'm NOT the least bit envious of the D -series.....

The black one is a TA, the one behind is an Ugly Duckling, (CV 2)

Presumably Don, I picked it as a TA from the A pillar forward. I wonder if it's a one off or a factory offering. It seems to have rally plaques on the bumper.
