    Loud pipes save lives.

Coming to work this morning and i passed thru a short tunnel under Pascoe Vale Rd, i heard what i thought was a duke or a harley.
Then i looked over to my left and saw a scooter that was possibly a 250cc model with a huge alloy pipe hanging off the side .

    Unless you're an owner operator.

I once had a Moto Guzzi 850 LeMans Mk11, which I had heavily modified. The noisier mods were: A Staintune 2>1 ( The prototype ) which was 1 decibel below the limit, Ergal timing gears (threw the chain out) which were square cut because there are no thrust bearings in that system and so, sounded like an air raid siren, nothing on the 40 Mil Dellortos but Stone Catchers ,and a Fiamm horn that was good enough for a large Truck. I knew that unless another driver was deff or a member of the Volvo Owners Club, I would be heard.
    Cheers, Billy.
