    not that bad.
had what looked like a 2" body lift, maybe 32"tyres, possibly 12" wide and saggy front springs.
so was probably about 1" above standard but was missing front bumper (probably bullbar taken off for mods after bodylift)
    and big yellow shocks
    "highly modified".yeah right

If that's a 1" lift those to cops are very short.

Now let's send this into the paper and make sure they really hate 4wd drivers.

Horrible accidents happen, grief stricken parents blame everyone else to set aside their own persistent and permanent guilt, newspapers and news media look for the most attention getting angle on a story.

Since none of us fall into those categories...

    Cheers

    Simon.

Saw the pics (in the Telegraph) last night. The story indicated that no charges had been laid against the driver.

From what I read I doubt that the outcome would have been much different irrespective of the vehicle (unfortunately for everyone involved).

I also managed to see part of the interview with Rob Kelly (Pres NSW 4WD assn) on Today yesterday morning, makes you wonder why anyone bothers trying to defend 4WDs as the interviewer had obviously made up his mind that these "highly modified 4WD child killing machines" should all be off the road.
