He was a great comic.

Funny just thinking about it again will have to get them on DVD for keeps.
Great talent, comedians of that ilke are just not with us any more, can't bring to mind any of the new order that funny, maybe Rowan Atkinson in small doses.
I couldn't get enough of these guys when I was younger like Steptoe & Son, the Carry On movies, Charlie Drake, Norman Wisdom, On The Buses, Love Thy Neighbour etc etc real comedy not like trashy yank crap they serve up to day :roll:

Dont forget John Cleese. There have been some funny British sitcoms but no one particular comedian that really stands out, not like they did way back then. You are right, they dont make them like they used to. matt
