Yes, I can't agree more. Those who have been lucky enough to see one off-road can see that they are a excepionally impressive unit.
I knew that the new Disco would be a good, but I was sceptical at first mainly due to the indie suspension. Once we seen it in the 'real' world and not taking the jurnos word for it, the cross valved suspension and the torsen diffs front, rear and center they do tackle off-road terrain with considerable ease.
It's such a shame it's so bloody dear, LR would sell a lot more if a bit cheaper, but at the end of the day, you get what you pay for [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif[/img]
Maybe the days of the Toyota 'bribery' to the 4WD publications are well and truly gone. read the 4WD monthly article with intrest and the evaluation was totally un-biased to a degree which is a dead set rarity in Aussie 4WD publications.
