    Stupid plastic clips on grill

    Gday All,

Has anyone come up with new system to replace those stupid U shaped plastic clips that hold the top of the front grill in.

Whomever designed that shocker idea needs the rough end of a pineapple shoved fair up their clacker

Was thinking along the lines of the metal saddle clamps manipulated with some pliers.

Well I tried a few different ideas but didn't want to drill into the plastic grill , so some trusty cable ties actually work well. You can feed them behind the grill and back thru the next hole where the next clip sits , pull them tight and the grill don't move.

1 long cable tie on each side and all done, just be careful as there are some wire's tucked up behind the grill so dont capture them with the cable tie as they may wear thru over time.

Make sure you buy good cable ties.Cheap ones have no UV protection and go brittle pretty quickly
