Heavy Rain In SA Outback Areas.

    Hi there all

If anyone is looking for a good hoiliday break in the next month or so - outback SA might be a good place to go.

Over night we have had very high welcoming rainfalls - With summer approaching the desert should come alive with wild flowers and wildlife.

The back of my place is just boggy now no more 2cm swamps to wade through. Good to hear they are getting some elsewhere.

About this time 3 years ago, wife, dog and i went camping at Wilpena pound and it absolutely bucketed down for 2 days. After 1 night of having our dome tent blown fron side to side we decided to chuck everything in the back of the rangie and drove to Hawker and found a motel - and snuck the dog in with us! Next time we go , it will be a litle later in the year, although just spent the weekend in Adelaide and the weather was perfect.
