Look What Went Past My House

Six months ago I shifted address. My back fence is on the railway line.

This went past this morning but I missed it. I heard it but was too late to see it.

However, the railway track is a dead end. So what goes past has to come back, as it did at 5.15 pm today.







In the last pic my place is on the left of the tracks, about where the engine is.
I walked to the crossing as this was a far better place to view. SWMBO watched from our back fence.

Nice. Beats the freight trains that usually trundle past - but they're good fun too.

Not yet. Lack of funds as I can't seem to land a job.

i saw one similar go through on the Ipswich line about a week ago.

Didn't have enough time to get a pic.

Have yet to see the train that runs through the Nundah station. Have heard and smelt the coal and steam ,but by the time I get out it is gone.
