He was very solemn there at times allowing the viewer time to get the feelings.
He's still a very funny bloke able to put a very humourous light on most things.
The first episode of "Billy Connolly's Tracks Across America" was on last night, 8.30pm Ch 7 FTA. Pesumably it'll be on same time next week.
I really enjoyed the first episode, all sorts of REAL people. Don't know how ya'd view this first episode, but ya'd probably find it somewhere on the web. One of the people Billy spoke to was a 94 Y.O. "Hobo" (the guys that used to ride the trains!).
A pretty entertaining program, IMHO.

I've tried watching his travel docos in the past but really couldn't get into them so I haven't bothered with this one. My wife watched it.
