    eye protection with led lights.

Last weeks germanic supermarket cattledog had some glasses with built in led. Not signed off as safety or intrinsically safe blah blah but have comfortable frames and polycarbonate lenses so as they looked alright bought a couple of pairs. One LED on each side frame. Just tried them under the truck at night.

Very good for keeping crud out of your eyes and illuminating what you are doing. Will be interesting to see how long the batteries will last. Will test further when fishing in a couple of weeks.

    Bought some as well.
The soldering iron today for $12 was a bargain, it includes "helping hands".

I bought a pair when they were last on sale, find them handy when under the car where it is dark, for the engine bay my aldi head torch works better, more directional adjustment is possible. The batteries in the glasses don't last long, I have changed them in mine once and they need done again, but the main reason they don't last is I keep forgetting to turn them off, I now have standing instructions to the family, if you see me walking in with my lights on let me know!!
