    converting steering drop arm to D1 arrangement

    I'm sure i have read about it.........

    is it worth doing?

    What parts are required?

    What do you mean Kelvin, just using a straight Disco arm instead of the drop arm setup on the 110's.

    Easier to replace joints and longer lasting drop arm joint. To avoid having the steering damper in harms way you can fit an aftermarket bracket to the drag link and fit it back where the defender one is originally.

    I have this setup on my 110 but left the damper behind the diff.

    JC mentioned it on a pitman arm ball joint replacement thread a couple of days back.
    There was some detail there but I can't easily find/link the thread from my phone.
