SubscriberBrakes started sinking further to the floor over the last two weeks, pumping up would stiffen but would then start to sink again. The pedal is not quite hitting the floor yet. As I understand it this indicates a master cylinder leak?
Then, this week I parked it on a steep incline, nose up, and when I got back to the car there was a puddle of fluid (which I can only assume is brake fluid) underneath the brake pedal which appears to have run down the pedal.
Tips?
Cheers

						Clutch fluid more likely.
Brake fluid shouldnt make it to the footwell, assuming you have a booster.

98% of all Land Rovers built are still on the road.
The other 2% made it home.
Cost difference between Britpart and Genuine seals: £2.04. Knowing that your brakes won't fail at any moment: Priceless.
As others have said you may well find its the clutch master cylinder that is leaking, the brake master cylinder is way too far away in the engine bay to leak into the cab.
*Do confirm if its brake or clutch leak.
*look at the clutch fluid level and likely to be low.
*eventually the clutch will stop working which should confirm this.
*Its pretty common that the master or slave on the clutch fails, and not a biggie.
*Id recommend you change out both the master and slave.
*Replace with new or get the old stainless sleeved (it will then out live you and the vehicle).
