Constant air in P38 footwells
Could any P38 RR owners verify whether some air is directed to the L and R footwells regardless of the selection of the air distribution switches? The bulk of the air tracks the switches OK.The HEVAC is showing no faults on Rovercom when the distribution motor is command driven and the dist. motor can be heard chugging from windscreen to Face to Feet etc.
Having replaced the RH blend motor sometime ago I'm reluctant to go diving in to the controls if not necessary!
Thanks.

The foam seals in the hevac unit degrade over time and allow air leaks all over the place.
If there's no faults and the air comes out of the right spots I wouldn't be worried about it too much.

Air In Footwells
Thanks benji.
The effort to get to the flaps may not be rewarded,if as you say leakage is the likely cause. At least the temperature in the footwells is the same both sides and equal to the temp of any vent selection.
I will wait for something dramatic to happen in the region (Heater "O" rings are still original!!- 2001 Vogue owned from new).
Cheers
