Brake light keeps going dim ?

Evening all strange one to me but the divers side rear brake light keeps going dim ? The globe looks O.K. at first but goes dark gradually, this is the third one, does not blow or go out just gets very dim - still obviously on but low light.
2007 D3td all other brake lights are fine just the one goes, the other globes in that light are fine e.g. tail, indicator and reversing all stay good just the brake light and only one side.

Any suggestions ?

edit : New globe fixes it for about 2/3 weeks then starts to fade again.

Poor connection???? Any rust in the globe holder????

If it was the earth, as far as I can see it is common to all the globes why is only the brake affected ?

Try looking for a bad connection in the active wire feeding that bulb. Jim
