    2006 TD5...Fan on constantly.

    Hi,

Some months ago in the Vic High Country my Turbo went.
I lost power massively, and was blowing black smoke out constantly.
On the way home on the Hume, most I could get downhill with a tail wind was 100kph,...rest of time was lucky to get 70kph...

All the time the fan was on.
I took it to a garage in Melbourne, he said Turbo was stuffed.
New Turbo was fitted, vehicle is running as per normal, just fan is still stuck on.
Any Ideas on what is causing this?

I dont use the vehicle every day, but feel that something is not right with this being on constantly.

    Col.

Vehicle got warm and they are locked on..
A fault clear should see it return to normal

Anyone with a Nanocom should be able to clear it for you.
I could get mine back this week if you don't find one closer.

Have a hunt through the stickies below to see who is close by that may help.

I'll locate the Nanocom and get in contact later in the week.
It may be a weekend job as I start work @3:00pm most days.
    Cheers, Kyle
