    Detachable towbar falling out

    Hi All,
This is my first post. I have a disco 3 which we love driving. We have been travelling this country of ours now for the last 3 yrs. About two weeks ago we pulled into a rest area and just as we pulled up the detachable tow bar with caravan attached parted company with the vehicle whilst still in the locked position.
I have had it inspected by the Landrover dealer in Toowoomba and am waiting for the technical people to give their verdict.
I received an email asking if I was aware that the manual indicates that a WDH not be used with this vehicle. So I can see where this is going to lead with the technical answer.
The manual talks about how to balance the combination with the air suspension but does not describe how to balance the combination with a Vehicle without air suspension if you can't use a WDH.
I tried towing without using a WDH and found it to scary as the vehicle sat to low.
How do you balance the combination without air suspension if you can't use a WDH.

The dealers would be referring to a D3 with air suspension when talking about not using a WDH. If your model is the D3 S model without air suspension (coil springs not airbags) then they haven't got a leg to stand on.
