    Battery Placement

Looking for a little bit of help (and pictures if you have them) . I'm working on a series 1 but it has a series 2 motor and the previous owner put the battery in a wooden box right next to his replacement fuel tank behind the passenger seat. Not my cup of tea. So would like ideas as to how I can put it back in the engine bay if possible. Has anyone out there got a s1 with the s2 engine that can post a photo of their set up? Thanks in advance

You should be able to put it back under the bonnet in the normal position.
I have a 2.25 diesel in my 80" & the battery fits in there no problem.
Will try to get a pic over the weekend (maybe).
